This Privacy Policy explains how PrestoStories ("we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and apps to create personalized illustrated storybooks.

Information we collect

• Account information — your email address and, if you provide it, a display name.
• Story content you provide — the child's name, traits, and any reference photo you upload to personalize a story. Reference photos are used to generate illustrations and are stored in our infrastructure.
• Order information — when you purchase a printed book, your shipping address and payment confirmation. Payment card details are processed by our payment provider (Stripe); we do not store full card numbers.
• Usage data — basic technical information needed to operate and secure the service.

Children's information

PrestoStories is intended for use by parents and guardians, not by children. The information you provide about a child (name, traits, photo) is supplied by an adult to create that child's storybook. We use it only to generate and fulfill the story you request, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles. You can request deletion of this information at any time (see "Your choices" below).

How we use information

• To generate and deliver your personalized stories and printed books.
• To operate, secure, and improve the service.
• To communicate with you about your account and orders.

How we share information

We share information with service providers who help us run PrestoStories — for example, our hosting and database provider, our image-generation provider, our payment processor, and our print-fulfillment partner — only as needed to provide the service. We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations (such as keeping records of purchases). When you delete your account, we remove your stories and personal content; we may retain limited records required for tax and legal purposes.

Your choices

You can access and update your account information in the app, and you can delete your account and associated story content at any time from Account Settings. To make any other privacy request, contact us at support@prestostories.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date above.
